Kuwala is a portable solar-powered station. Oasis is the platform running on it for chat, search, reading and translation.
Oasis Knowledge contains multiple PDF libraries within Oasis. Connect over the station’s local Wi-Fi to use Oasis without internet. Each station will include at least one recycled device to share.

Think through a shelter design. Explore how to protect soil and keep rainwater on your land. Prepare a lesson, learn a trade or follow a question simply because it interests you.
Kuwala gives people a shared starting point. A local team can choose the guides, books and manuals that matter to them, and build a collection around their community.

The station is designed to store solar power, charge compatible phones, tablets and power banks, and supply suitable equipment through its 12-volt outlets.

Share access over Wi-Fi.
Use the supplied device, or connect another to the station’s local Wi-Fi. Add satellite-based internet when you need online access; the libraries work without it.

Oasis helps you explore the PDF libraries in Oasis Knowledge. The local team can add documents and organise the collection around what people want to learn and do.
Ask in your own words, follow a suggested question or read further. You can also translate an answer or readable PDF-page text. The original stays available to compare.
Answers link to their source pages. AI and translation can make mistakes, so checking the original is part of using Oasis.

Try Oasis on Kuwala.
Open the Oasis web app and connect to Kuwala in our lab. When the station is online, browse Oasis Knowledge, ask a question and open the documents behind an answer.
The web app and books you’ve saved on your device stay available when the station is off. Chat, search, translation and new downloads need a connection to the station.
The remote lab preview needs approved email access and an internet connection. To request access, email hello@kuwala.space. Beside a station, you connect over local Wi-Fi.

Lab testing is making encouraging progress. The libraries, search, chat and source links are running locally, and we’re refining answer quality and translation.
Next comes testing the complete Kuwala station: power, charging, Wi-Fi reach and everyday use. A local trial will help shape the collection and show what people need from it.
